P3 Tortilla Chips with Guacamole

This is a great P3 snack that won't cause you to pack on the pounds

The trick is to make your own chips using coconut oil.  The coconut oil has an added health benefit and helps speed our metabolism.  

Louana is my favorite coconut oil to cook with because it is odorless and you can't taste the coconut like you can with most of the other oils out there today.  

If you can't find this oil at your local grocery store you can always get it here on Amazon

Just brown your corn tortillas in 2-3 tablespoons coconut oil till crispy on one side, flip then add cheese and cook until melted.

To make guacamole add to bowl:


  • 1 large peeled avocado without pit
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup diced white onion
  • juice of 1 large lime
  • juice of 1/2 large lemon
  • 1/4 cup fresh salsa
  • salt and pepper
Mash avocado with fork in large bowl.  Add remaining ingredients to mashed avocado and stir until smooth.  

You may also do this using your blender or food processor but a fork works just as well.
